Using a worked example to illustrate Project Management in practice this class will provide you the base of knowledge needed to apply the Project Management Institute’s PMBOK Guide practices. Helping bring the PMBOK Guide to life, the class will review the processes PMI recommends be used to organize and manage projects. Covering PMI’s initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing process groups, the class will demonstrate how Project Management is used to organize people, processes, resources and logistics. Helping you build your organizational skills, the class will review the management framework used to ensure investments made in projects yield positive results.
Note: This course is for students who have completed Project Management Fundamentals and have not taken The Project Manager's Toolkit: Project Initiation and Planning and The Project Manager's Toolkit: Project Execution, Control and Closing.
