Course Description

This course is 36 learning hours inclusive of 9 hours of live sessions. It is recommended that students spend an average of 3 hours per week on this course.  

This course supports career development practitioners who are working with employers as opposed to individual clients. It will cover a variety of topics including: identifying the core skills and competencies for the workplace, hiring practices and inclusive work environments.

  • The value of networking with employers via conferences, seminars, workshops and career fairs
  • How to coach employers in their hiring practices and development of training policies
  • Strategies for an inclusive work environment


By enrolling in this course, you will be automatically enrolled in the Certificate of Professional and Leadership Studies in Career Development.
