Course Description

Certificate of Achievement – Dairy Nutrition and Health Management (January – April 2020). Full course, assessments included.    

Join Dr. Frank Schenkels for an in-depth examination of the health and nutrition requirements of the individual dairy cow, the requirements for maintaining high standards of health, and optimal nutrition in the dairy herd.

Register for the full certificate or for all lectures and labs. Lectures are conducted in-class, through a combination of presentation, interaction, and case study review. Labs are conducted in the Dal-AC facilities or on commercial farms, and involve demonstrations, hands-on activities and field tours. Transportation is provided.
