Dalhousie University is your solution for lifelong learning. With over 200 courses to choose from, your options for learning with Dalhousie are endless. And now, with the launch of OpenDal, those options are better aligned with continuing and non-credit learning.
The Faculty of Open Learning has partnered with Extended Learning in the Faculty of Agriculture, Continuing Professional Education in the Faculty of Dentistry, and Health Sciences, Health Administration, and the College of Pharmacy in the Faculty of Health to bring you a learning management system that is built for non-credit learning. Built on the Brightspace platform you are familiar with, OpenDal offers almost immediate access to many courses and an experience targeted to you.
If you're looking to access your online non-credit course, you've come to the right place. Search for your courses here in Destiny One, then log in and start learning in OpenDal.

If you're looking to access your online non-credit course, you've come to the right place. Just click the "Login" button at the top right corner of this page and select either "Student Login" or "Instructor Login" to proceed. If you're a student and you have a NetID username, you'll need to login using the NetID option. If you have an OPEN_X ID, you'll login using the center option. Once you've logged into the student or instructor portal, click on the "View My Courses on OpenDal" button to go to OpenDal.
