Application for Leadership in Continuing Care Administration Certificate

Tuition fees for the course(s) to complete this Certificate total $5600.00

Admission Criteria

• Completion of a four-year undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, as well as:
  • Provision of a statement of career objectives and the relevance of the Certificate to those goals.
  • If employed in long-term care, a letter of support outlining benefits to the organization and confirming commitment to provide leave to participate.
• Preference will be given to those sponsored by the province of Nova Scotia and/or long-term care facilities.

OR

• Minimum of 5 years experience in the Continuing Care Sector including a minimum of two years leadership experience with supervision of direct reports, as well as:
  • Provision of a letter confirming you meet the above criteria from your employer.
    • The letter should also include endorsement of leadership potential and confirmation of financial support from the employer.
    • If employed in long-term care, the letter of support should also outline benefits to the organization and confirm the employer's commitment to provide leave to participate.

Upon approval of your application, a staff member will enrol you in the next offering and issue an invoice to you.
