Sectional Anatomy for Health Professionals

This course is intended to provide a foundational knowledge base of cross sectional anatomy for non imaging health professionals.

This non-credit, online course will be offered as three separate learning modules.

• Head, Neck and Spine
• Chest, Abdomen and Pelvis
• Musculoskeletal (Upper and Lower Extremities)

Each module contains:

• Objectives to guide the learner through required goals for each module.
• PowerPoint presentations of the indicated body parts will be provided which consist of a series of medical images in multiple planes. This format allows the student to scroll through a series of images and appreciate the relational nature of the anatomy.
• Static diagnostic images and diagrams will reinforce localization of anatomy.
• Contrast and Compare section will demonstrate anatomy and some common pathology using different imaging modalities.
• A self test will allow learners to measure their knowledge.

Cost: modules A, B and C ($75, $75, $100 respectively) or purchase all 3 modules at once for $200.
