Course Description
This comprehensive course explores the transformative role of Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) in modern dentistry, emphasizing its impact on accurate diagnosis, enhanced treatment planning, and interdisciplinary care. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of CBCT technology, interpretation protocols, radiation safety, and clinical applications across various dental specialties.
What You Will Learn
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the principles of CBCT operation and the advantages of three-dimensional imaging in dentistry.
- Evaluate appropriate use of CBCT across dental specialties and recognize variations in craniofacial anatomy.

Didem Dagdeviren, DDS, M.Sc., Ph.D., FRCD (C), Dip.ABOMR
Dr. Didem Dagdeviren received her DDS and Ph.D. from Hacettepe University, Turkey. She completed her specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology combined with Master of Dental Science at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Dagdeviren is an Assistant Professor and Division Director of Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine and Oral Radiology at McGill University. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
