Course Description

LIMITED ENROLLMENT – HANDS-ON, 40 persons

This comprehensive course explores ground-breaking concepts and outlines the essential skills needed to master the art of endodontics, empowering participants with the expertise and confidence to deliver optimal care. The course will showcase the application of the latest Reciprocating NiTi instrumentation technology for safe and efficient canal shaping. Further, the course covers predictable irrigation protocols utilizing Passive Sonic Irrigation, along with the vertical condensation of thermo-softened gutta-percha through The Continuous Wave of vertical condensation and thermosoftened carriers. During this exciting presentation, attendees will receive hands-on experience in a workshop environment with the key objectives of improved precision and speed in performing molar root canal treatment within an hour.

What You Will Learn

  • Learn about the Endodontic Advancements and Concepts which will allow successful endodontic treatment.
  • Learn how to assess the criteria for a successful endodontic procedure.
  • Finding the MB2 canal, accessing and navigating the calcified and curved canal, and managing the apical 1/3rd.
  • Learn how to accurately locate the apical constriction, and troubleshooting tips.
  • Learn how to shape the root canal space using the latest reciprocating NiTi instrumentation technology in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Learn how to remove the Smear layer and Biofilm using state of the art Irrigation Protocols.
  • Obturate the root canal system in 3-D utilizing the Continuous Wave of Condensation and thermosoftened carriers.
  • Understand the importance of the post endodontic treatment restoration.

Instructor

Gary Glassman DDS, FRCD (C)
Dr. Gary Glassman graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in 1984 and was awarded the James B. Willmott Scholarship, the Mosby Scholarship and the George Hare Endodontic Scholarship for proficiency in Endodontics. A graduate of the Endodontology Program at Temple University in 1987, he received the Louis I. Grossman Study Club Award for academic and clinical proficiency in Endodontics.
The author of numerous publications, Dr. Glassman lectures globally on endodontics, is on staff at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in the graduate department of endodontics.
Gary is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Fellow of the American College of Dentists, endodontic editor for Oral Health dental journal, Editorial Advisory Board for Inside Dentistry, Faculty Chair for DC Institute and Chief Dental Officer for dentalcorp Canada.
