Course Description
This three-week immersive program combines English language learning with global citizenship, sustainability, and meaningful community engagement. Strengthen your confidence and fluency in English while exploring the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through interactive classes, experiential learning, and volunteer opportunities.
Experience the culture and community of Halifax, build intercultural connections, and develop the communication skills needed to make a positive impact in an increasingly interconnected world.

Daily Schedule
- 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM Monday - Friday, English Language Communication class
- 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM Tuesday - Thursday, Global Citizenship & Sustainable Development Goals
- Selected weekdays, evenings and weekends Volunteer and sociocultural activities.

English for Global Communication
Develop the English skills needed to communicate confidently in today's interconnected world. Through project-based learning, discussions, presentations, and collaborative activities, you'll strengthen your ability to express ideas, work in teams, and communicate across cultures while exploring global issues and the Sustainable Development Goals.
Global Citizenship & Sustainable Development Goals
Explore meaningful global topics related to citizenship, sustainability, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Develop your intercultural awareness and deepen your understanding of global challenges, different perspectives, and possible solutions for a more sustainable future.
Volunteer & Experiential Language Learning
Take learning beyond the classroom through a 10-hour volunteer and experiential language learning opportunity. Practice English in authentic situations, engage with the local community, and gain a deeper understanding of global citizenship through real-world experience.
