Course Description

This course is a self-paced asynchronous course.

Learn what forms the core of board governance at your own pace through the investigation of five broad topics: board governance fundamentals, effective governance through stages, inclusive leadership in governance, unconscious bias and the board, and embedding diversity and inclusion into an organization. In order to adequately familiarize you with these topics, we have included mini-cases, state-of-the art readings, instructor-led video mini-lectures, and video clips from a few top-ranking executives in Canada with substantial experience in board governance. To ensure a more holistic approach, we have blended these components with our own structured lectures and custom course materials.
