Course Description

This course is 10.5 learning hours. It is recommended that students spend an additional 1-hour reviewing course material.

When starting a new project, one of the most important decisions you can make is choosing the right project delivery strategy. While the waterfall approach is the standard methodology framework in many organizations, most people are not aware there are different project delivery strategies: waterfall, iterative, incremental, IID, and its lightweight cousin, agile.

Participants will learn about the Agile mindset how to start thinking in innovative ways and how agile teams use openness and transparency, collaboration, and group reflection to improve team performance. Topics explored include agile philosophy, lean, team culture in the agile environment, and ways to rapidly improve performance through rapid growth reflection. After completing the course, participants will be able to structure work differently and better adapt to volatility, uncertainty, change, and ambiguity (VUCA).
